The ATLANT Inc. having long-term experience in manufacturing conveying systems for manufacturing the complex domestic appliances launched the production of conveying systems for tube-rolling facilities at Baranovichi Machine-Tool Plant in 2005.

The tube-rolling complex for manufacturing the seamless pipes with the conveying systems manufactured by the ATLANT Inc. make it possible to produce 250,000 tons of various tubes in the three-shift operation mode.

Range of dimensions of the tubes produced:

• diameter: from 21,3 to 168,3 mm,
• wall thickness: from 2,3 to 32,0 mm.
• tube length: from 6 to 15 m.

Conveying systems of the tube-rolling complex    Conveying system   Description    Area of cutting and feeding the billets into the furnace     Intended for feeding the billets from the existing mill to the storehouse of the tube-production billets or directly to the heating oven with cutting simultaneously to the required lengths and with quality control.     Area for transfer from the furnace to the piecing mill     Serves for feeding the heated billets from the heating furnace to the rotary piercing mill.     Unloading table of the piercing mill     Intended for receiving the billets, which were not passed to the piercing mill for any reasons, thrown to it from the inlet side of the piercing mill.     Billet deoxidation station     Serves for protecting the internal surface of the tube against oxidation by feeding the mixture of air and boron powder into the tube.     Manipulator for transferring the billet from the piercing mill to the rolling mill     Serves for transferring the hollow billets from the piercing mill to the elongator for rolling them further into the rough tubes.     Area of transferring the rough tube from the mill to the mandrel extractor and from the mandrel extractor to the stretch-reducing mill     Serves for conveying the rough tube rolled on the mill and drawn onto the mandrel to the mandrel extractor and the rough tube removed from the mandrel to the stretch-reducing mill.     Outlet table of the stretch-reducing mill     Serves for transferring the completed tube of off-gauge length from the mill to the inlet section of the refrigerator.     Inlet table of the refrigerator     Serves for transferring the completed tube to the refrigerator.     Cooling bed     Serves for transferring the completed tube of off-gauge length from the hot line to the line for preliminary finishing of the tube with cooling simultaneously the same during a certain period of time.     Outlet table of the refrigerator     Serves for removing the tubes from the refrigerator and transferring them onto the inlet table of the saws of the preliminary finishing line.     Conveying equipment of preliminary finishing lines №1 and №2     Serves for conveying the tubes from the refrigerator to the saws cutting them.     Tube heat treatment area     To be used for tubes delivery to tempering furnace.       Tube finishing area    Conveying system   Description    Conveying equipment of the area for marking and painting the tubes     The devices are intended for the tube-rolling complex and used for conveying the billet, unfinished and finished tubes between the made process equipment of the complex.     Conveying equipment of the area for packing the tubes, weighing and marking the packs     To be used for tubes delivery to packaging machine, weighting and labeling plant, wrappage labeling plant.

All the products are manufactured in compliance with the certifies quality management systems to the standards ISO 9001 and STB ISO 14001.

In 2007, the Baranovichi Machine-Tool Plant of the ATLANT Inc. manufactured completely the conveying equipment for the Shop for Hot-Rolled Seamless Tubes of the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant.
