The models of the ATLANT washing machines have been created with the account of the most recent achievements in the production of domestic appliances. As to the two parameters being important for a washing machine, i.e. washing efficiency and energy efficiency they are referred to Class А (in the scale of classes from the highest А to the lowest G). The ATLANT washing machines use efficiently also water. For example, when washing the articles of cotton, the water consumption does not exceed 49 l in the standard machines, 44 l in the narrow ones and 39 l in the mini ones.

The models of the ATLANT washing machines are manufactured with a segment or LCD display and differ in control.

The series of the ATLANT washing machines with a segment display is presented by 5 models: CMA 35M102, CMA 45Y82, CMA 45Y102, CMA 50C82 and CMA 50C102. The display has several indication zones, on which the water heating temperature, rotational speed of the drum during the spinning, time remaining to the beginning or end of the washing and washing operation being performed are displayed. The washing parameters indicated on the display are set by the buttons of additional functions. The indicator of an additional function indicates whether this function is ON or OFF.

The ATLANT washing machines with a segment display differ from one another in rotational speed of the drum during the spinning (800 or 1,000 rpm), machine cabinet depth (328, 400 or 493 mm) and, respectively, maximum loading (3.5, 4.5 or 5 kg).

The series of the ATLANT washing machines with a LCD display is presented by 2 models: CMA 45Y124 and CMA 50C124.

The LCD display indicates all the data on the washing: washing program, water heating temperature, rotational speed of the drum during the spinning, additional functions being used, time remaining to the beginning or end of the washing and washing operation being performed as well as power and water supply when executing the washing program. The information can be displayed in one of the four languages: Russian, Ukrainian, English or German.

The washing parameters indicated on the display are set by means of the selection knob. Next to the selection knob there are buttons to be used for switching ON/OFF the machine, for cancelling the washing program, for saving the corrected washing parameters in the machine memory and for modifying the parameters, which have already been selected.

The ATLANT washing machines with a LCD display are fitted with a filling hose provided with an AQUASTOP system for protection against water leakage. In case of water leakage in the hose, the water supply to the machine is blocked and washing is stopped.

The models with a LCD display differ from one another in the depth of the machine cabinet, either 400 or 493 mm and, respectively, maximum loading, either 4.5 or 5 kg. The rotational speed of the drum during the spinning in these machines is 1,200 rpm.

All the models of the ATLANT washing machines have 15 basic programs, which make it possible to wash the articles having different fibrous composition and structure as well as sports footwear:

• The manual washing is intended for very delicate articles.
• The express washing is used, if it is necessary to wash quickly weakly dirty linen.
• The combined washing facilitates the washing process to maximum extent, because the articles are washed without sorting according to the kind of fabric.
• The programs for sports cloths and footwear make it possible to re-wash quickly the sports cloths and footwear (made of textile materials and artificial leather).
• The spot removal program makes it possible to remove any dirty spots, even stable ones, including those with using bleach.
• The intense washing would help to cope with heavy dirtying of articles made of especially hardwearing fabrics, for example, jean cloth.

The additional functions in the ATLANT washing machines make it possible to create the best conditions for treatment of the linen:

• Delayed start of the washing makes it possible to start the program at the convenient or advantageous time (for example, when the tariffs for the power supply are reduced).
• Preliminary washing (additional washing prior to the main one) is provided for removal of considerable dirtying from the articles.
• For very heavily dirty articles made of cotton, it is recommended to use the soaking function.
• Selection of the rotational speed of the drum during the spinning and cancellation of the wringing make it possible to take into account the peculiarities of the articles being washed.
• Selection of the washing temperature and washing in cold tap water make it possible to set the temperature in accordance with the recommendations for care of the articles.
• Stop with water in the tank excludes the final wringing cycle and is used when washing the articles made of very thin and delicate fabrics for reducing their mashing.
• Light pressing function reduces the mashing of fabrics in the washing and wringing process and facilitates the subsequent ironing.
• Additional rinsing is provided for children's cloths and articles intended for the people with allergy to detergents as well as for washing in very soft water.
• To lock the buttons for preventing the accidental modification of the selected program during the operation of the machine, for example, by children, some models are provided with the additional children-protection function.

The design of the ATLANT washing machines employs the technical solutions, which make it possible to achieve the optimum results when washing and spinning the linen while ensuring the stable operation of the machine in case of possible changes of voltage in the electric mains from 170 to 255 V.

The electronics controls fully the operation of the ATLANT washing machines and ensures the optimum use of their capabilities.

The audible alarm informs on the beginning and end of the washing and indicates also the erroneous pressing of the buttons.

A special system with a ball valve is provided for using the detergents to the full extent. As the tank is filled with water, the shutoff valve prevents unsolved powdered detergent from penetrating to the water drain.

The door for loading the linen is opened by 180° that facilitates considerably the loading process prevents the linen from mashing during the latter's unloading.

The interlocking device in the lock of the machine door is switched ON automatically during the operation of the machine.

The interlocking of the door closing is provided for preventing the accidental switching ON of the machine, for example, by the children.

The detergent tray is opened and closed without efforts. It has three compartments marked by digits and symbol: for preliminary washing of linen, for main washing, for special-treatment means (conditioning, starched and aromatizing additives). The tray is adapted for using both the loose dry and the liquid detergents.

The tank made of composite material polypropylene featured by high strength and durability withstands excellently mechanical loads. Using the tank of polypropylene makes it possible also to reduce the weight of the washing machine and its high heat-insulating properties make it possible to reduce the power consumption.

Thanks to a special shape of the drum made of stainless steel, the linen does not bunch up when being washed and is distributed evenly over the whole surface during the spinning. The size and shape of the holes in the drum exclude the damage of the linen.

The electronic imbalance control system ensures the optimum result when spinning the linen and stable operation of the machine without increased vibrations or noise. Thanks to the automatic correction of the rotational speed, the linen in the drum is distributed evenly prior to each spinning.

The heating element of the machine is made of high-quality stainless steel ensuring more reliability, strength and protection against scale.

The ATLANT washing machines are manufactured in two colour solutions: the door is coloured either white or silver.

In 2009, a new series of the ATLANT washing machines is prepared for manufacture. Such washing machines will have LED indicators on the control panel. The nearest plans include also launching the production of the washing machines with the complete Aquastop system for protection against water leakage not only in the filling hose, but also inside the machine itself. The design of the future models will be also changed. A series of the washing machines with an ergonomic navigator of the buttons for selecting the washing program and parameters is developed with new design elements. A new design will be also embodied in the future models with LED indicators and segment display. And it is only part of the model range of the ATLANT washing machines, the extension of which is planned.

The ATLANT washing machines are manufactured at the new enterprise of the ATLANT Inc. — Domestic Appliances Plant in the city of Minsk opened solemnly in January 2007.
