ABS plastic emitting actually no odour is used for manufacturing the internal cabinets of the ATLANT refrigerators instead of polystyrene. Therefore, the concentration of the specific odour of plastics is excluded in the closed chamber of the refrigerator .

The ATLANT refrigerator can be accommodated in any convenient place of the room, because its doors can be re-hanged to the opposite side free of charge within the warranty service period. The rollers on the rear supports of the appliance are provided for convenience of moving the refrigerator or freezer.

The evaporator in the ATLANT refrigerators is located outside the refrigerating chamber (behind its rear wall) and coated with foam. Using such foam-coated evaporator of the refrigerating chamber makes it possible not only to increase the volume of the chamber for storing the foods and beautify its appearance, but also protect the evaporator against damages and makes it easy to clean the chamber.

The cooling system used in the ATLANT refrigerators is based on the natural air movement: the air cooled by the evaporator flows down and the warm air comes up. Unlike the No Frost system, the used cooling system creates the different temperature zones in the refrigerating chamber being optimal for storing different foods and the moisture required for the foods stored remains inside the chamber.

The automatic system for defrosting the refrigerating chamber evaporator helps in maintaining the moisture at the constant level in the ATLANT refrigerators. The hoarfrost forming at the rear wall of the chamber is converted periodically into water droplets. Water evaporates partially to maintain the necessary moisture level and its residues flow via tube into the vessel on the compressor where they evaporate under the action of the heat emitting during the operation of the compressor.

The transparent containers included in the scope of delivery are intended for storing various foods in the ATLANT refrigerators. They include containers for fruits and vegetables, vessel for odorous products or drugs and insert for eggs.

The shelves adjustable by height and barrier shelves on the refrigerator door make it possible to accommodate the foods compactly and conveniently in the refrigerating chamber.

The shelves made of shockproof glass not only withstand the load of up to 20 kg, but also are convenient in use. Any liquid spilled accidentally on such a shelf would not spread over the entire refrigerating chamber. Any bottle or jar will stand stably on such a shelf and will not turn over.

The ceiling lamp in the ATLANT refrigerators improves the illumination of the refrigerating chamber while occupying the minimum place in the volume of the chamber.

The fan installed in the refrigerating chamber is switched on for more intense cooling of the foods and uniform distribution of temperature in the chamber. The operation of the switched ON fan is controlled by the electronic control and indication unit.

One of variants of the external design is refrigerators with end-face handles in the form of straps on the chamber doors. The original design of the handles makes it possible to reduce the overall dimensions of the refrigerator as to depth that is rather important when mounting the refrigerator in a small-size kitchen.

The refrigerators have two operating modes, the Storing and Freezing ones. Such refrigerators allow the users to freeze fresh foods and to store frozen semi-prepared foods in large quantity at the same time: the freezing chamber has 2 to 4 compartments.

The models with bottom location of the freezing chamber are provided with audible alarm in case the refrigerating chamber door is open for more than 30 or 60 seconds and light indication of the refrigerator operation modes. The alarm and indicators facilitate the monitoring of the operation of the refrigerator and warn about any deviations in the conditions of storing the foods.

The refrigerators with bottom location of the freezing chamber can be two-compressor ones. The two compressors in the refrigerator ensure the separate operation of the chambers. It makes it possible to switch off one of the chambers as necessary and reduce the power consumption.

The ATLANT refrigerators with bottom location of the freezing chamber can be equipped with an electronic control and indication unit. This unit provides for setting and displaying on the digital indicators the temperature in the chambers, operation in the fast-freezing mode, ON and OFF state of the chambers and automatic disconnection of the refrigerator from the power-supply mains if the voltage is higher or lower than the required one. In some designs of these models, the said unit can also display the current time.

Among the new appliances manufactured by the ATLANT Inc., there is a built-in refrigerator.
